This is a ticket stub for the first Judas Priest gig Steve Grennan attended. He lost his original front stalls ticket stub but he was able to buy this one as a memory of one of the best gigs he’s ever been to. The gig took place at the Odeon on Friday the 13th Novemeber 1981. Steve didn’t tell his mum he was planning on going to see Judas Priest in Birmingham as she was worried about bombings in the city at the time and would most likely have stopped him going. Although a good night, it was bittersweet as Steve ended up getting an 85 fine the same day. Perhaps the date (Friday the 13th) had something to do with it?
